Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for rheumatologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to apply evidence-based recommendations for JAK inhibitors.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • JAK inhibitors available to treat patients with RA
    • Place of JAK inhibitors in RA management
    • Latest long-term efficacy data on JAK inhibitors
    • Clinical data on the risks of JAK inhibitor use
    • Communication techniques for discussing JAK inhibitor therapy with patients
