Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for obstetricians/gynecologists attending American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG 2022), clinician members of ACOG, obstetrician/gynecologist clinicians, and others interested in learning more about cCMV.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to appreciate the burden of CMV and identify patients to screen for CMV.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Signs and symptoms of CMV in pregnancy
    • Vaccines for CMV in clinical development
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Interpreting CMV lab results to determine risk of cCMV
