Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US experts with different ranges of expertise among target specialties.

The goal of this activity is for the learner to be better able to identify patients at high risk of progressing to diabetes in the future.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Importance of early diagnosis in prediabetes
    • Understanding of lifestyle changes as first smart approach
    • Cost-effectiveness of reducing vascular complications through timely management
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Timely management of prediabetes
