Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for nurses and nurse practitioners (NPs).

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to optimize the quality of care patients with CLL receive by improving nurses' and NPs' knowledge of current and emerging therapies and by improving their skills in managing the side effects of these treatments.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Guideline-recommended treatment options for patients with CLL
    • Adverse events (AEs) of CLL treatment regimens
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Mitigating AEs of CLL treatment regimens
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Personalize treatment for patients with CLL
