Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US obstetrician/gynecologists, nurse practitioners, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is that learners will improve knowledge and competence in the appropriate management of endometriosis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Pros and cons of different progestins used for patients with endometriosis
    • Recent data evaluating hormone therapies for endometriosis
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Selecting a progestin for endometriosis according to patient characteristics and needs
