Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for clinicians involved in the management of patients undergoing dialysis.

The goal of this activity is to improve comprehensive management of patients with chronic kidney disease–associated pruritus (CKD-aP) on hemodialysis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Ordering diagnostic tests for screening for and diagnosing CKD-aP
    • Selecting pharmacotherapy for the management of CKD-aP
    • Selecting nonpharmacologic therapy for CKD-aP
