Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for neurologists, ophthalmologists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be more aware of current and emerging treatment options for myasthenia gravis (MG) and better able to integrate into clinical practice for improved patient outcomes.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Nature of disease burden experienced by patients with generalized MG
    • Clinical trial outcomes for investigational therapies being studied for generalized MG
  • Have greater competence related to
    • The selection of pharmacotherapy for MG based on the nature of symptoms experienced by patients
