Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for hematologists and oncologists, pediatricians, and others involved in the care of patients with rare hematologic disorders.

The goal of this activity is to improve clinicians’ ability to accurately diagnose and provide personalized care for patients who present with clinical symptoms suggestive of rare hematologic disorders.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Recent clinical trial data evaluating treatments for rare hematologic disorders
    • Establishment of a diagnosis for patients with rare hematologic disorders
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Personalizing therapy selection for patients with rare hematologic disorders
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Improve care for patients with rare hematologic disorders
