Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for healthcare professionals who manage patients with obesity.

The goal of this activity is to improve knowledge among healthcare professionals with regards to the management of weight in patients with obesity.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Pharmacotherapy options for chronic weight management in patients with obesity
    • Comprehensive obesity management for initial weight loss and preventing reweight gain
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Discussing weight loss strategies with patients in their practice
