Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US cardiologists, nephrologists, and diabetologists and endocrinologists.

The goal of this activity is to improve the awareness of the availability of novel treatment options for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) shown to reduce the risk of associated complications.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical benefits of non-steroidal selective mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) for T2D patients with CKD
    • Safety aspects of non-steroidal selective MRAs in CKD
