Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for oncology nurses and oncology nurse practitioners (NPs).

The goal of this activity is to improve oncology nurses’/NPs’ ability to effectively educate and manage patients receiving therapy for melanoma.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Current treatment paradigm for patients with melanoma
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Discussing treatment considerations with patients and caregivers
    • Managing treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) in patients receiving therapy for melanoma
