This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians, infectious disease specialists, and pharmacists.
The goal of this activity is to increase knowledge on the causes of sore throat, how misuse of antibiotics for this condition can impact resistance, and review the differences between certain lozenges, sprays, granules, and local vs systemic relief nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs; speed of onset, pain relief, impact of patient and healthcare practitioner [HCP] perception on effectiveness).
