Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians (PCPs), nurses, and nurse practitioners (NPs) who treat patients with bipolar depression.

The goal of this activity is to improve the diagnosis and management bipolar depression.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Unmet treatment needs in bipolar depression
    • Risk/benefit profile of current and emerging treatments for bipolar depression
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Differentiating unipolar from bipolar depression
