Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for US-based allergists/clinical immunologists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, and nurses.

The goal of this activity is to educate clinicians on the impact of hereditary angioedema (HAE) on quality of life (QoL), review the clinical evidence for HAE prophylactic therapies, and improve clinicians’ ability to make patient-centric treatment plans that reduce the burden of HAE on patients and optimize treatment.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Demonstrate improved performance associated with
    • Assessment of patient burden using health-related QoL tools
    • Selection of appropriate HAE prophylactic treatment based on patient-centric QoL factors
    • Application of guidelines in the care of patients with HAE
