Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for allergists, clinical immunologists, ENTs, pulmonologists, pediatricians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to manage and treat moderate to severe asthma in different presentations.   

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Demonstrate improved performance associated with
    • Ordering an appropriate workup based on presentation of comorbidities and phenotypic profile
    • Selection of an appropriate treatment plan based on patient profile
    • Implementing effective strategies to care for patients with moderate to severe asthma
    • Identifying asthma severity in diverse patient populations
