Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians (PCPs), pediatricians, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) involved in the care of patients with psychiatric disorders.

The goal of this activity is to increase clinicians' awareness of telemedicine, burnout, and branding strategies.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Factors to consider when deciding between a telemedicine visit  vs an in-person office visit for patients with psychiatric illnesses
    • Strategies for reducing stress and burnout among psychiatry professionals as a result of patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic
    • Strategies for branding yourself in psychiatry
