Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for ophthalmologists, primary care physicians, and optometrists.

The goal of this activity is to educate ophthalmologists, primary care physicians, and optometrists on how to identify the best treatment strategies for patients with glaucoma that is uncontrolled by first- or second-line therapy.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Guideline- and evidence-based approaches to glaucoma treatment 
    • Newer intraocular pressure-lowering therapies 
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Selecting the best treatment options for glaucoma
