Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), and others involved in the care of patients with multiple myeloma (MM).

The goal of this activity is to enhance the quality of care provided to patients with MM by improving nurse and NP's knowledge of current and emerging therapies and their skills managing side effects of treatment and providing patient education.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Side effects of treatments for MM
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Managing side effects of MM treatments
