Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US hematologists.

The goal of this activity is to improve adoption of thrombopoietin receptor agonists (TPO-RAs) in the management of patients with ITP through discussion of key clinical evidence supporting the use of newly approved TPO-RAs in clinical practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Current unmet needs in the management of patients with ITP
    • Key clinical evidence supporting the use of newly approved TPO-RAs
    • Patients who benefit most from use of novel TPO-RAs
