Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for primary care providers, infectious disease and HIV specialists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.

The goal of this activity is to provide clinicians who treat patients with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) with the latest scientific data and guideline-based clinical concepts to optimize patient care.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Demonstrate improved performance associated with
    • Conducting appropriate sexual health screening
    • Ordering appropriate individualized therapy based on the results of sexual health screening
    • Ordering appropriate non-pharmacologic interventions based on the results of sexual health screening
