Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for dermatologists, primary care physicians, pediatricians, nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of acne.

The goal of this activity is to improve clinicians’ understanding of the patient burden and public perception surrounding acne.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Psychosocial impact of acne
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Evaluating the burden of acne on individual patients
    • Addressing barriers to effective acne treatment
