Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for orthopedists and orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, pain specialists, anesthesiologists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is to educate physicians on the most recent updates in osteoarthritis with regard to guidelines, best practices for care during the pandemic, and clinical data for new therapies.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Guideline recommendations for the management of osteoarthritis 
    • Clinical data for investigational therapies being studied for the management of osteoarthritis 
    • Recommendations for optimizing the clinical care of patients with osteoarthritis through the use of telemedicine during the pandemic 
    • Tools to assess the impact of osteoarthritis on the regular functioning of patients
