Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for rheumatologists and other clinicians who manage patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), including orthopedists, orthopedic surgeons, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and chiropractors. 

The goal of this activity is to update clinicians on the latest clinical data for managing and treating patients with axSpA.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Clinical classification of radiographic and nonradiographic axSpA
    • Clinical trial data of biologic therapies for axSpA
  • Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
    • Select evidence-based treatment for patients with active axSpA
