Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for US healthcare professionals, specifically pulmonologists, cardiologists, primary care physicians, and pediatricians.

The overall goal of this activity is to educate physicians on timely guidance on managing patients with pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and interstitial lung disease (ILD) during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and to provide answers to the most pressing questions.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Increased knowledge regarding the
    • Effects of COVID-19 on patients with rare respiratory conditions
    • Management of patients with rare diseases affecting the lungs during the COVID-19 pandemic
