Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US cardiologists, primary care providers, and nephrologists.

The goal of this activity is to review challenges association with the management of patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and how new agents in clinical development may have a future role in HFrEF treatment.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Challenges associated with the management of patients with HFrEF
    • Mechanism of action of emerging agents for the management of patients with HFrEF, including the selective cardiac myosin activators
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Appropriately manage patients with HFrEF in order to minimize cardiovascular-related morbidity and mortality
