Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US ID/HIV specialists and primary care physicians.

 

The goal of this activity is to improve knowledge in the management of complex HIV cases in daily practice, including drug-drug interactions (DDIs) and best practices in the choice/switching of antiretrovial therapy (ART).

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding
    • DDIs in complex HIV patients
    • Switching ART to minimize DDIs in complex HIV patients
    • Management of DDIs in complex HIV patients
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Management of complex HIV patients with multiple comorbidities
