Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians, pulmonologists, and allergists & clinical immunologists.

The goal of this activity is to increase knowledge and competence in how to improve patient adherence to asthma therapy.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding
    • New strategies for improving adherence to asthma treatment
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Assessment of adherence in patients with uncontrolled asthma
    • Identifying appropriate strategies for improving adherence to therapy
