Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for an international audience of ID specialists, emergency medicine physicians, pulmonologists, and nurses.

The goal of this activity is to update clinicians on the latest epidemiological data of viral genotypes and therapies in development, and early data of efficacy.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Latest information on coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and knowledge gains during the evolving pandemic
    • Latest epidemiological data and spread of viral genotypes
    • Therapies in development and early data on efficacy
