Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for ophthalmologists, primary care physicians, and surgeons.

The goal of this activity is to increase clinicians' knowledge of the latest advances in intraocular lens (IOL) technology and surgical techniques and technology to optimize outcomes in refractive cataract surgery.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • New surgery techniques and use of latest technology to aid treatment in cataract surgery
    • Latest developments in IOL technology
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Optimizing refractive outcomes in cataract surgery
