Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for OB/GYNs, emergency medicine physicians, nurses, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is to review the available data on the use of sFlt‐1/ PlGF ratio to rule out/in preeclampsia (PE), and to review the clinical applications of these biomarkers in diagnosing PE.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have greater competence related to
    • Appropriately incorporating sFlt‐1/ PlGF assessment into patient evaluation strategies
    • Interpreting sFlt‐1/ PlGF data to assess PE risk
