Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for primary care physicians, gerontologists, neurologists, nurses, and nurse practitioners.

The goal of this activity is to increase competency in screening older adults for safe driving skills.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge of
    • Factors that impact driving safety in older adults
  • Have increased knowledge in
    • Identifying and overcoming barriers to discussing driver safety with older adults in the clinic
