Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for orthopedists & orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and primary care providers.

The goal of this activity is to increase awareness on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients who present with knee osteoarthritis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Appropriate assessment of patients for knee OA
    • Sequencing of available pharmacotherapies for knee OA
    • Role of intra-articular (IA) steroids in the management of knee OA
