Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for an international audience of non-US cardiologists, primary care physicians, and neurologists.

The goal of this activity is to increase physician awareness of nonpharmacologic treatments for cardiac arrhythmias.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Recognition and diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF) and its potential clinical sequelae
    • Clinical guidelines for AF ablation
    • Results of the latest clinical trials on AF ablation
  • Have greater competence related to
    • The role that ablation should play in the management of patients with AF
