Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for gastroenterologists, oncologists, and emergency medicine physicians.

The goal of this activity is to discuss the identification and management of immune-mediated hepatitis related to treatment with immune checkpoint blockade therapy.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Common immune-mediated adverse events (imAEs) in patients receiving an immune checkpoint inhibitor regimen
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Mitigation of imAEs in patients receiving an immune checkpoint inhibitor regimen
    • Communication regarding imAEs between members of the multidisciplinary and oncology care teams
