Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for obstetricians/gynecologists, in vitro fertilization specialists, primary care physicians, reproductive endocrinologists, nurses, pharmacists, and others involved in female fertility care.

The goal of this activity is to discuss the options for ovarian reserve testing for patients with infertility as well as women interested in fertility preservation and future family building.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding
    • The prevalence of fertility issues among women of different ages
    • The collaborative role of the healthcare team in managing the patient with infertility or seeking fertility preservation
  • Have greater competence related to
    • The use of anti-Müllerian hormone assessment to evaluate ovarian reserve
