Target Audience and Goal Statement
This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US healthcare professionals, specifically oncologists,
obstetricians/gynecologists, and pathologists involved in the treatment of patients with hormone receptor (HR)-positive breast
cancer.
The goal of this activity is to improve physicians’ understanding regarding the development and use of prognostic biomarkers for patient selection and response to cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK)4/6 inhibitors in HR-positive breast cancer patients.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will:
- Have greater competence related to
- Use of genomic tests for identifying responses to CDK4/6 inhibitors
- Have increased knowledge regarding the
- Use of biomarkers to assess patient response to CDK4/6 inhibitors
- Scientific basis regarding how a patient may respond to a CDK4/6 inhibitor combination therapy in HR-positive breast cancer
