Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for rheumatologists, orthopedists, and primary care physicians.

The goal of this activity is to improve patients’ long-term outcomes by implementing classification and diagnostic criteria for early diagnosis of patients with axSpA, both with and without radiographic evidence of disease.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Outline the diagnostic and classification criteria for the early identification of individuals with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA)
  2. Evaluate the role of imaging in monitoring and treating patients with axSpA
