Target Audience and Goal Statement
This activity is intended for allergists and other clinicians who provide care for patients with allergic diseases
The goal of this activity is to provide education on the use of allergen immunotherapy for patients with allergic diseases
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify clinical implications of recent advances in allergen immunotherapy
- Summarize the safety and efficacy of recently approved allergen immunotherapies
- Distinguish between subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy options with respect to potential benefits and limitations
