      Overview

      Data from recent clinical and cardiovascular outcomes trials (CVOTs) suggest that glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists have multi-factorial benefits beyond glycemic control.

      On this page, you'll find a collection of dynamic, interactive educational programs addressing the latest evidence for managing individuals with diabetes and other disorders -- especially established or risk factors for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD).

      Several programs discuss care for individuals with diabetes during COVID-19. We have many activities reporting back from the latest scientific congresses, and others that focus on practical considerations of starting a GLP-1 RA in practice: from titration and adverse effects, to guideline-directed management and when to choose another glucose-lowering drug.
