Ankylosing Spondylitis Learning Hub

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory arthritis that affects mainly the axial skeleton and the sacroiliac joints. As the disease progresses, there is a decrease in spinal mobility and physical function and an increase in disability. This can lead to substantial impairment in health-related quality of life. Recently, there have been a number of developments in AS, including an increased understanding of pathogenesis, assessment tools, and new therapies. This page provides education on the latest updates in managing patients with AS.
